ghost ink (pen extension blocks) : can't be detected by code but it's visible to the player.
ghost ink on

ghost ink off
basically when you turn this ink on and use it you can see it but the sprites can't detect that ink
so sensing block wouldn't detect it but you could still clear it via clear pen

Making blocks basically commit ghost 100 within the editor, however still be active?

'Dunno if others feel the same way, but this can be used to bypass the rejection reason of restricting sharing or disabling see-inside by hiding all the code.

The Official List of Rejected Suggestions, Top Sticky by Za-Chary wrote:

4.1 Disable “See Inside” or restrict sharing
Some users want an option to prevent Scratchers from looking inside their project and using their artwork, scripts, or sounds. However, the core ideas of Scratch are "Imagine, Program, Share.“ By sharing a project on the Scratch website, you are allowing others to see the code and potentially remix or reuse the data inside, as long as they give credit. That being said, please use the Report button on any project that uses content from another Scratcher without giving credit to them. If you do not want other users to see inside your project, then do not share your project on the Scratch website.

Restricting sharing so that only certain users can view the project is also not going to be implemented. It is important for projects to be publicly shared for everyone to see so people can report them if they are inappropriate. Only allowing certain users to view projects could increase the chances of inappropriate projects being shared on the website. ”Unlisted projects," similar to a YouTube feature, will also not be implemented for the same reason; for more information, see this post. It could also be used for private messaging; for more information, see #7.1 on this list.

Ah, I see. Misunderstood you there. Also, you can click “Quote” in the bottom right to quote a user.
Well, this does bring some ambiguity however.

1. When turned off, would it also entirely remove this affect from when it was previously on? Say, I drew a circle with ghost ink on. Now if I disabled it, would ghost ink be locally enabled on it, or not? Same for enabling it.
2. Can you give a few examples of how this would be useful? It sounds highly situational.

but how will we clean?

fr though if it can’t be detected by code that means
it wouldn’t be cleared (maybe add more explanation)

By the way, you can color blocks like this:

Yes they can, try for yourself

If you mean clear, the block should probably just not affect that, and just affect the color sensing blocks.
