I've been curious about who would win in an all-out battle between Marvel comics and DC comics. Only rules are that you must use logic and no one-sided bias, and these are characters facing off, not the franchises.

I think DC would win since their heroes have extremely overpowered powers, but I like Marvel more.

In order to fully undertand how this would work, each character would have to put up against someone of equal strength. On the top, this would most likely be Superman vs Hulk. While both there characters might seem invincible, it is possible for them both to die. While Superman has a wider variety of powers, I think Hulk's rage would eventually win out. Batman would not have a big influence, given that he is outclassed by nearly every Marvel superhero, including the two I most associate him with, Punisher and Captain America. Flash would probably take on Quicksilver, which would be a good matchup that I cannot determine the winner. Wonder Woman would most likely face off against Ms. Marvel. I believe Ms. Marvel would win, because, other than the lasso of truth, Marvel has everything Wonder Woman has but more, not to mention military training. Martian Manhunter and Vision would be an interesting battle, but I think Manhunter would win in a very close battle. (more discussion later)

No, I meant I thought there were no match ups at all so superman can kill everyone.

Other than the characters mentioned above, DC doesn't really have very many notable heroes, and most of their villains aren't too tough either. Marvel has many diverse and powerful heroes, and their villains go up to god himself (big examples: Doctor Doom, Galactus, the Beyonder, Ultron)! Therefore, while DC would put up a good fight, Marvel would win out in the end.

THat actually could happen, but Superman would not kill everybody. He's not all powerful. But the idea is still pretty much the same.

also two Hulk is no match for Superman
Maybe someone like Nova or like there's another Marvel guy who's name i forget but he's literally almost a carbon clone of superman

EDIT: let's make this fair and say that they have to be in mainstream continuity right now in order to qualify for the fight which means no Doc Manhattan or guys like Dream

or Death thats a bit unfair too

Well I read some huge nerds analysis of Superman one time

and basically

it's the fact that he pretty much knows he's the only thing that can certainly survive every disaster so it's dealing with the loss of more mortal people and struggling to protect them more than it is “how am I going to win”

while like Iron Man and Captain America and stuff it's sort of both because they aren't quite as
invincible

Ms. Marvel IS in mainstream right now, she's part of the New Avengers. Superman has been killed by Doomsday, who I think is similar to Superman. This is my forum, and just about any character is allowed other than incredibly obscure characters like Famine (if anybody even knows who that is).

Never heard of him, but I'm assuiming, based on his name, that he has something to do with the atomic bomb, since the Manhattan Project developed it. There are several Marvel characters who could probably stop him.

I love both DC and Marvel, but honestly I'd have to say DC.
DC has super overpowered characters, and plus, they got Batman.

DON'T YOU DARE BRING UP BATMAN AS THE DECIDING FACTOR! Batman would be killed so fast by some of the more ruthless characters like War Machine and Punisher. The only reason he isn't already dead is because none of his enemies actually have the brains to put him out of commision.
