Also most operas are open domain and sampling is completely legal, it's definitely not a copyright issue
i think it was, according to Genius: “Rumor has it that the song was initially intended to be on the self-titled album, but was removed for copyright reasons due to its sampling of 1995 song “Time to Say Goodbye/Con te Partirò” by Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman.” but it's a rumor so idk.

Maybe the song isn't as old as I thought.

OOOOOH!
Okay so that song it an expanded version of a song from an old opera, so most of it was new
So they would have to pay royalties if they sampled it
And since there are several estates involved with that, that'd be more than a dollar on the album
So that'd be a considerable profit loss
That makes sense

Yes, there are two paths you can go by, but in the long run
And there's still time to change the road you're on

very fast and short, but I like it when their guitarist Graem does that little rage face during shows. Their “documentary” is pretty funny too!

Opinion time!

Reasons why vinyl is the superior audio medium:
  1. Lower decibel range
  2. Nearly impossible to directly pirate (i.e. create a copy of a vinyl record)
  3. No worries of the listener messing with the EQ too much
  4. Warmer sound
  5. Large size allows for chunky covers and inserts
cons:
  1. expensive to get into
  2. you actually have to clean them :skull:

Needles are so hard to get on vinyl players though.
And even when I have some the audio still skips T_T

They're probably top six at least
Maybe after 45's, eight track tapes, VHS's, those little fake phones that are just two cups stuck together with string, and the inside of a dishwasher

Nothing really
I just think it's rather funny because obviously the audio of a vinyl disk is generally a lot better than the inside of a dishwasher

Hot take, but musicals are boring. I mean, the songs are good, but just watching them is so tiring…

On another note, currently listening to basically all of the discography of Earth, Wind, & Fire
