O-o
sorry buddy but 0/10 music taste
I am curious to know what you think is good music taste
hehehe well ill just put some of my favorite artists:
-twenty-one pilots (if you don't like them then….idk what to even say anymore)
-Green Day
-I DONT KNOW HOW BUT THEY FOUND ME
-Fall Out Boy
-My Chemical Romance (+ Gerard Way's Hesitant Alien album)
-Laufey
-Waterparks
-Vinyl Theatre
-Alec Benjamin
and also to be fair taylor swift isn't too bad, i listen to her SOMETIMES, i just like making fun of swifties for no reason lol
Well I find music of many other people's favorite bands to be rather mediocre
I am very open to other musical ideas, and when presented with something really good I do admit it's really good
But I'm not a fan of Twenty-One Pilots, Fall Out Boy, or My Chemical Romance
I particularly dislike Twenty-One Pilots
But, as I said of Taylor Swift, if you like it you like it
And that's not invalid
But of course some music is objectively good
Like I think we can all agree that, purely objectively, that Bohemian Rhapsody is a good song
And we can all agree that Baby by Justin Bieber is pretty *
So if Baby is a 1
And Bohemian Rhapsody is a 10
Most songs by Twenty-One Pilots are between a 4 and a 6

Also I never insulted your taste in music, only stated my opinion on those bands
You directly said liking Taylor Swift is “0/10 music taste” so you're actually making false accusations levied against the wrong party
i mean you've probably only heard their more popular songs, but you'd probably not even like their really good but not popular songs. anyways moving on from this conversation…

That's a reall silly argument to make. Like I find that borderline offensive. You really think that somebody who actively seeks out the music of somebody as obscure as Jack Eric Williams only listens to popular surface level stuff? If that were the case, I'd hate Radiohead too. But I love Radiohead. I'm very open to giving things a chance. If you send me what you believe to be the best 21 Pilots song and I have not heard it and think it's very good, then I will concede.

I meant to say songs so you accidentally understood what I meant even though I said the wrong thing.
And I listened to a handful of those, not all of them because I'm a tad busy, but you're right that I liked Time To Say Goodbye
It's very interesting because it sounds like the audio in the sample is reversed and therefore the vibrato is inverted and it feels very melancholy
Not a huge fan of white rappers who try to make their voices sound “black” but some of the lyrics are decent
And the they're all very well set so at least a few steps above Eminem
Not an amazing song but it's pretty good, yeah
I understand why you'd really like that one
This is one time I gotta say it's the beat that is the best part of this song
Which isn't a very good thing but in this case it works cause the beat has notable melodic and lyrical content that props up the lyrics
Like 7/10 to maybe 8?
That is an unreleased song I believe so I had not heard it before. I concede. I had overblown my distaste for this band.

well I'm pretty sure its sampled from some 90s song and it's Italian slowed or smth. that's the reason why it's unreleased, bc of some copyright issues. at least you didn't think it was trash, so I am satisfied

It's sampled from an opera as a matter of fact
Most associated with the famous Italian tenor Andrea Bocceli

Edit: Also most operas are open domain and sampling is completely legal, it's definitely not a copyright issue
