TBH I'm in the process of moving from Spotify to a mix of locally-stored MP3 files (downloaded from Bandcamp using a tool that I can only mention as "
Also the only top 100 songs I could have listened to are like those DJ mix artists like Avicii or Skrillex. (if they were even top 100)
Also the woohoo song isn't even countable since I can just go to SoundCloud. (also I am listening to it right now)

found this album called still life by kodomo. it's this atmospheric-type thing, i like it. so far my favorite song is concept 1.
hm also my humanities teacher showed us this song he liked in high school by some band called life sentence. Idk what it's called. but it was pretty cool and fast and high energy I kinda liked it. i liked how the song alternated between being a normal tempo and then a super fast one.

Am I the only person in this thread that listens to edm and dubstep? I feel like everyone here only listens to hip-hop and rock (not dissing I think they are good as well)

methods") and YouTube, because (ever since the layoff of Glenn McDonald) Spotify feels less like a music streaming service and more of a Top 100 slop streaming service.the reason I stay with spotify is because the sound quality is really high, it has better suggestion/algorithm tools (daylist, the AI DJ, blends, collaborative playlists etc.) and it connects to a bunch of apps and programs and I can use it on my xbox or link it to my purple D app account. little quality of life features like those are what keep me around, also because I pay for premium. if I had to use spotify free I would definitely not have stick around. i think the problem you're facing is that spotify pushes more “top 100 slop” in its automatic shuffle/station modes TBH I'm in the process of moving from Spotify to a mix of locally-stored MP3 files (downloaded from Bandcamp using a tool that I can only mention as "
you're good lol, I deserved thatSorry for that oops, just translated the second part. i see your point. just not my stuff, its also kind of derailing but to each their own
I used to be into edm/dubstep around 2019/2020 but the scene isn't nearly as large so I lost interest. i only really listen to rap is because I get inspired by the beats and use them as inspiration for my own productions and I just really like the sound of rock, mostly pop punk/alt rock Am I the only person in this thread that listens to edm and dubstep? This is how I feel with minimal synth and minimal wave. I feel like I'm the only one here who merely KNOWS that genre exists Am I the only person in this thread that listens to edm and dubstep? I feel like everyone here only listens to hip-hop and rock (not dissing I think they are good as well)

Same except with kpop to Dubstep. My older sis got me into it but then as I got into NCS then monstercat I lot interest cause I got into more melody kinds instead of lyrical kinds. Which is why I find just the singing boring. At least we all have something in common. We have different tastes that no one else has. Honestly your responses made me feel a lot better to be unique. Legit how I feel with opera

Yeah. Kpop is actually still relevant in some yt shorts like cupid or seven days a week. But kpop is kinda a fad now and is now a closed fandom.yeah I used to be into a lot of monstercat stuff, mostly monstercat instinct. i havent heard a kpop song for years so I think kpop fell off. unless its still big? idk. but yeah I really just focus on melodies and stuff over lyrical content or lyrical quality.Same except with kpop to Dubstep.
