What music are you listening to?
okay guys before i start this post i just want to point out that this album has SWARING!!!! sware word
i didn't notice it nearly as much as in their first album but still i think i should still put it out there
a band that i've been really obsessed with lately, glass beach, released their second album after 4 years
to be fair covid really uhh
slowed everything down
anyways the album is fire. my favourites were the killer, puppy and 200
although there were a couple others that really drew me in when i listened to them - cul de sac is the first that comes to mind
i thought motions and guitar song were good on first listen but they're early on in the album and the rest of the album has a lot of bangers better than both of them
abyss angel was a weak closing track compared to orchids on their previous album. it's not bad by any means, just i literally listened to it like 20 minutes ago and already i've forgotten how it goes
genre based recs for specific songs:
prog rock: commatose, whalefall gives me plini vibes ngl though not really prog rock, the cia
math rock: rare animal, commatose again, coelacanth, motions kinda
i would say a good portion of the album sounds like prog and emo, math rock kinda but i don't think the influences are that big
more folkish tunes: the killer
screamo: slip under the door; this was one of the tracks that i didn't really like but really i just don't like people screaming their lungs out
jazz: 200, it feels like lofi in some places nearly
the four songs i listed in the start of the post (the killer, puppy, 200, cul de sac) are probably the four most mainstream tracks on the album, and those are my favourites because i'm weak and can't handle anything that diverges from the generic stuff you hear on the radio. the chord progressions for puppy and cul de sac sound so joyful, but the mixing turns it melancholic almost. the chorus in puppy (which, beware, has the h word!!! oh no!!!!!) might be tied with the pre chorus of the song glass beach on their first album for my favourite part in a glass beach song. i'm in love with the orchestration + strings on the killer; it provided some much needed atmosphere to the album
anyways tldr this is a cool album and it's so epic and i love it

What music are you listening to?
I could leave, but I won't go
But it'd be easier I know
I can't feel a thing from my head down to my toes
Why does it always seem to be
Me lookin' at you, you lookin' at me
It's always the same, it's just a shame, that's all

Oppure posso semplicemente etichettarti come incompetente per averlo trattato come un arretrato per aver usato un linguaggio elaborato e ascoltato musica più vecchia della sua data di nascita.Verily, ‘tis advantageous to engage in discourse with clarity and propriety, for in the art of logical reasoning, a lucid and well-expressed speech becometh a beacon that guideth understanding and fost’reth sound deliberation.i mean you talk very old time with proper english and stuff soThank you for the answer.
