How do high-contrast blocks even help colorblind people?
How do eye-burning high-contrast blocks even help colorblind people? Its not like colorblind people can tell out high-contrast block. Also, they could just read the text, why would they look at the color?

Probably because the background color can get morphed with the text if the color contrast isn’t enough.
