bruh i tried to change the size of the sprite but it had 0 effect

ran a auto clicker on it lol
i had to delete the project and start over

Scratch has minimum and maximum sprite size limits to prevent things from disappearing into nothing or getting larger to the point where it crashes the computer.

However, there's a way to fix this. I made a massive sprite and it doesn't let me make it larger than size 72:


If I want to break the size limit, I can switch to an empty costume, change the size and then switch back to the big one.

In that case, you'd need to show me your project because I'm not entirely sure why it would do that, but seeing that you've deleted it…
