Will There Be Scratch: The Movie?
No, if you heard of one it's just a collaboration and that question shouldn't be asked here.

Will There Be Scratch: The Movie?
i wish we could have one but the best content they could get out of it would have to be royalty free music playing with a simple project to show the majority of scratch. also, scratch is a non-profit.

Will There Be Scratch: The Movie?
No, Scratch doesn't really have a lot of time and resources for that
An official documentary would be cool, though, and it is probably easier to make one
Or an Animation vs. Scratch by Alan Becker :D

Will There Be Scratch: The Movie?
I mean, they might at some point, but there is no official announcement for a Scratch Movie, and I doubt it's really high on their priority list right now (which seems to focus on bug fixes and accessibility, among other things).

why? I see nothing wrong with it. It's* an alterative way to ask “are there scratch movies?”. that question shouldn't be asked here.

Will There Be Scratch: The Movie?
I son’s think so. Scratch is already struggling with storage space, I don’t think they have enough resources to make a movie. Also, what is it going to be? About coding or Scratch Cat in Codingland? /j

Will There Be Scratch: The Movie?
They aren’t making a Scratch movie.
But possibly.
Scratch is a high-level block-based visual programming language and website aimed primarily at children as an educational tool, with a target audience of ages 8 to 16. Users on the site, called Scratchers, can create projects on the website using a block-like interface. Projects can be exported to standalone HTML5, Android apps, Bundle (macOS) and EXE files using external tools. Scratch was conceived and designed through collaborative National Science Foundation grants awarded to Mitchell Resnick and Yasmin Kafai. The service is developed by the MIT Media Lab, and has been translated into 70+ languages, and is used in most parts of the world. Scratch is taught and used in after-school centers, schools, and colleges, as well as other public knowledge institutions. As of 15 February 2023, community statistics on the language's official website show more than 123 million projects shared by over 103 million users, over 804 million total projects ever created (including unshared projects), and more than 95 million monthly website visits.
