My browser / operating system: Windows NT 10.0, Chrome 116.0.0.0, No Flash version detected

Hello and I found a bug/glitch in Scratch:

When I open a Scratch project, either mine or someone else's, and I go to the audio tab, the music files are there, but there is no sound coming at all.

Note: This does not happen on every sound file.

Is the tab in your browser muted? Are you sure the system volume is high enough?

Do you mean the length of the sounds are 00:00.00?

Yeah, this has been happening to people since around April, and it only seems to happen on their side.

Update: I've noticed when I reupload the sounds that deleted, and reload the project, the exact same ones get deleted, every, time.

yes, this is happening to me! I have a large sound file for the music in my game, but it keeps getting deleted! the file just shows a blank line with no sound waves. every other sound effect is fine

Guys I think I fixed it, don't use Google Chrome.

Well - that's not really a fix. That's just a workaround. I'll keep this open until we hear from more folks.

Yeah, it only never happens if I don't use Chrome, or if I load a project in Turbowarp.

im using opera but it still is happening its so annoying

i have the same problem i have music in my game while you play but it just deletes
