I see some people “protesting” to get a Scratch dog. Has the Scratch Team seen it? Did they or will they consider adding one?

It's currently being suggested here. For now, you can use the four dog sprites that are already in the sprite library.

I don't think the Scratch Team will add a Scratch Dog anytime soon. That's just my opinion though, so take my response with a grain of salt.
and Q-bert from Slatch already exists anyway so…
