Oh yeah, I don’t think this is a suggestion list, as they are almost the same thing - linking stuff in the forums.

Yeah, some of you may know the wiki tag, and it links to wiki articles
But then, how about a forum tag that links to the forums like Help with Scripts, Questions about Scratch etc.
This way, we could link forums more easily and we don’t have to grab the link every time a guy posted in the wrong forums or like that

A deleted tag for dustbinned posts/topics that would replace the normal “forum” and “post” tags, instead of returning a 403 page, the link could just become a text like this:

So basically you mean a BBCode tag for other forums? That's not a bad idea.

All of the forums have IDs (a full comprehensive list is here). I suggest that you can link to those, like below.


In addition, I think that we should be able to type the name in the tag AND between the tags, much like the [wiki] tag.


I'd also propose a topic and post one, like this -

It's when you set autocorrect to something you use often. I don't know how to get it on computers, though.

This can actually be really helpful since it does make the process to link a topic / forum more quicker than what it currently is right now, someone is probably going to use this (if it does get accepted, likely not though)

Well, widget links would be nice, but it may not be worth working on over plain text links, especially considering that s2forums are deprecated

Well, widget links would be nice, but it may not be worth working on over plain text links, especially considering that s2forums are deprecated

It would be easy as making an image for each forum and using that image as the content of the link.

In the case that the post or topic listed becomes deleted instead of the link becoming a confusing 403 page it could replaced it with a new BBcode tag [deleted] which would say that the corresponding post or topic is deleted in a widget, you could also use this directly to reference a post or topic which is deleted. No more needing to edit posts or topics when a referenced post or topic becomes dustbinned!

Can the BBcodes replace each other? I intended for the links to be a text link, I didn’t think about widgets in the first place. If the deleted thing could replace other ones, how would it be shown using text?
