how do i change what microphone i'm using to allow the site to actually record my voice and not just silence

i know what to do to fix it put i dont know how! can you help

how do i change what microphone i'm using to allow the site to actually record my voice and not just silence

I think it's a system or browser settings issue. Try going through those and finding sections with microphone settings in them, and setting it to the proper microphone.
