Just a small concept.
Chances are, you've probably made a comment on somebody else's project, waiting patiently for them to respond.
When they do, however, you need to refresh or leave the page to see the reply - but what if you didn't want to?

That's where this idea comes into play.
A new button for refreshing the comments section, above the comment box.


Above is the layout I think will work best.

Using this button will clear the comments and display them again, along with ones posted after initially opening the page.
This will not persist past the “Load More” button on projects with a lot of comments (in an identical manner to how comments are first shown upon opening a project page), and also will not go to any specific replies to your comments.

Additionally, it would have a 60 second cooldown between uses to prevent lag, possible crashes, etc.

It's all fine if you don't approve of this. It's mainly a “Quality of Life” suggestion, if you get what I mean.

I mean this doesn’t seem that useful as you could just reload the screen?

This is useful because what if you're playing a game, and halfway you want to post a comment? We could refresh, but still a great feature.

Good idea, the cooldown is certainly useful, but hinders correct use of the function…

I understand that, although the idea wasn't intentionally built around my beliefs specifically.

Still, you can open the comments in a new tab to view it.

Semi-support, much easier to implement and generally less annoying than live comment refreshing

Although the cooldown should be much smaller, especially considering refreshing the entire page to see new comments would take less time
