Super Mario World Maker is a Mario-themed level creator I made about 3 years ago after getting my hands on Super Mario Maker for 3DS and falling in love with the 16-bit art style of Super Mario World. It has become my most-viewed project on Scratch and I've finally gotten around to updating it again and making some changes I've been thinking about for a long time.

There are a few things I'm not sure about when working on the new update, so I decided to write up some of my thoughts and see what you guys think. Please help out by quoting the post below and answering some or all of the questions about the game.

All of these are really hard to code in my current engine and I'll probably only add one or two that are the most popular.

Other Scratchers have suggested Makers based off other games than just SMW. I could do this by replacing all the costumes in the game, but it's tedious.

I am thinking of rebranding the project to something like ‘Mario World: Construction Kit’. This is less infringing on Nintendo's trademarks and separates the game from a lot of other projects with the same name.

Add a World Maker, (NEW COURSE THEMES) Sunken Ship Theme, Tank Theme (Make a Custom Tille Set And Include Conveyors as Tank Threads), Airship Theme, (NEW POWER UPS) Ice Flower, Cape Feather, Elephant Fruit, Yoshi Berries, (NEW ENEMIES) Goombud, Renzor (BOSS), Huckit Crab, Cheep Cheep, Lakitu, Rocky Wrench, Monty Mole, Changin Chuck, (NEW GIZMOS) Tank Cannons (From SMB3) Bob Omb Cannon, (ALSO FROM SMB3) Cannon that Can Point in Any Direction

I think the cape feather would be a good power-up to add. I like the current logo, and I think a New Super Mario Bros maker would be cool, but only if it is possible.

can you add yoshi?

I think it would be cool if you add some enemies from the new Mario game (super Mario bros wonder) or you could add a new theme

You should really add charging chucks though they do seem tough to program. And for some added detail possibly add enemies stemming from SMB2 and SMB 3

can you add the ability to play as Luigi war and waluigi lz

I feel you can make the textures with shading and more diverse in the colors.
