Pros & Cons of Vector & Bitmap?

Ohaider, I was just wondering about the pros and cons of both bitmap and vector out of curiosity.

Pros & Cons of Vector & Bitmap?

Bitmap was the only option until 3.0 was released - it has the ability to crop images and edit individual pixels, and all images are uploaded to the paint editor as a bitmap because that's what JPEGs, PNGs, GIFs etc. are formatted as. However, you can't resize or edit text or shapes once you make them.
Vector is my favorite, because you can edit shapes and text whenever, move stuf around easily, and the quality of shapes is better because it uses a computer algorithm to render objects at every size instead of storing individual pixels.
Probably ninja'd but I don't care | edit: OMG not nonja'd!!!!!!!

Offtopic, but vector was an option in 2.0 too, not just 3.0.

Can confirm, Bitmap was the only option until 2.0 not 3.0:

I find vectors annoying to use most of the time.

Pros & Cons of Vector & Bitmap?

Vector is smoother and allows for easier costume making, while bitmap is best to edit images uploaded to scratch.
Both have an equal amount of pros and cons- use the one you're most comfortable with.
