Add a lines mode to the brush please

In vector mode, please add making the brush draw lines and not just shapes please! :3
Honestly, there's no reason to not have this. 2.0 had this so why not 3.0?
I'm tired of drawing lines with the brush and needing to edit them like shapes.
It would make drawing a lot easier and save time.
This could be something you enable or disable for the brush tool or it could be another tool if the scratch team wants.

Also to anyone that thinks I should just use the line tool please politely be quiet and go away because that's a terrible idea.

Uhm what excuse me?? It's a fine tool

Do you want a line tool which allows users to move one end of the line, while keeping the other end intact

I want to be able to quickly draw lines with lots of curves. The line tool is okay but if it's a bit inconvenient to place down lines and spend time reshaping all of them when you could be drawing the whole thing really quick with your mouse then making some small changes after.

yeah, I have been a bit frustrated with not really being able to do that. =P

You can’t tell other Scratchers to go away just because they don’t support your suggestion and think that there’s a workaround for your suggestion …

I actually don't see anything wrong with using the line tool. Looks stupid but maybe for only drawing straight lines.

Also there is an existing paint tool which you just draw any kind of line straight or curvy and works perfectly fine. So the paint tool CAN draw lines and not just shapes.

Also, at least in Scratch 2.0, you can hold the shift key to draw straight lines.

I will confirm that you can do it in 3.0 too.

Not sure where this is in 3.0, but I know for sure it still has it:

Also, not sure if this works now, but try using “shift” if you want straight lines.

The problem isn't that I'm trying to draw perfectly straight lines, the problem is that if you draw a line, it isn't a real line but a shape that looks like a line. 2.0 does not do this and actually does what I want the 3.0 brush to be able to do.
honestly the fact that it was in 2.0 but not 3.0 is what makes me a bit upset. =P

So if I'm correct you want this:

In which case, call it a “rectangle mode”.
You can use the reshape tool to edit a rectangle, or use an external program and import the SVG file from that.
