i am trying to make a parody of hotline miami but idk how to make a punching script just tell me or show me a script pls

First i would make a punching animation in whatever sprite then i would make it so when you click the screen it plays the punching animation and for 1 frame switch to a “punch hitbox” costume which should be a purple box that is positioned exactly where the fist is in your punch sprite then when you switch to that costume check if anything is hitting that costume then do whatever you need to do (change health or give knockback) then switch back to a normal sprite that isnt the hitbox.
