making a game and need help with a clicking glitch in the code. (will put you in credits if you help)

So, I am making a game, and in that game, there are 3 things you can choose from in the start. To be your starter pet, but when you choose that pet and type “yes” it takes you to a backdrop (which is good) but… you can click on it again when it switches the backdrop, and it will ask you if you want that pet as your starter again! (which is bad) It is in the main backdrop, and I don't want the person to be able to click on it again and broadcast the dialogue.

I have noticed that you’ve posted 2 posts on the same topic. Try to keep it on the same one next time by bumping the original one.
Also, if you could, sharing the project would help us fix your bug.
set [this v] to []
using the
[scratchblocks] set [this v] to [] [/scratchblocks]
scratchblocks tag would also help us understand the question.

Hence, if you could.

I remember that new scratchers couldn’t share projects (idk reason) so uh

Probably use the second option

Here is the link, it is still in Beta https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/890994080/

Click on Snivy to see the problem (Snivy is the green one)

I tried fixing it, but that didn't work so I just now deleted the code..

For professor Kuden:

And for Snivy (and other 2 Pokémon if you can adapt it):

sorry for the bad quality on picture one.

side note: clicking on snivy and typing yes doesn’t seem to work for me, but Tepig does.

You gotta set the variable spam to false also, it’s set to 0 currently

Edit: also change your broadcasts for all 3 Pokémon, you don’t just use one broadcast for all

TY! It works now! (I'm going to annoy you) How do I make them not get bigger when hovered over in the next backdrop? (you dont have to answer this if you don't want to)

P.S I will sub to you on YT.

same thing (Pokémon picked already thing) but put inside the forever loop…

something like this:
when green flag clicked
forever
if <(Is a Pokémon picked already?) = [false]> then
… // your script for Pokémon to be bigger when hovered
end
end

Hello, I added a hunger system, and I'm trying to find out how to make the Pokemon faint when its hunger gets to high, any ideas?

if <(hunger) > [value]> then
switch costume to [fainted v]
end
Something like that
