Worries about scratch servers

So recently I’ve been thinking about how scratch is only up because of funds and donations. And recently I’ve been worried that the servers will shut down due to low money income. So how many years does scratch have before it finally shuts down? Is there other ways I can still use scratch?

They won't shut down. They have a bunch of other sources of income.
Although, recent layoffs aren't a good sign for their revenue.
If you're worried, but don't be, Scratch isn't going anywhere, the offline editor is a good option: https://scratch.mit.edu/download
The TurboWarp editor is also really good.
But, I must say this again, Scratch isn't going anywhere.

There is no evidence to suggest that Scratch is running out of funds. In fact, evidence from the 2021 and 2022 annual reports suggest that funds are actually increasing.

Based on the above evidence that funds are increasing, my working theory is that the Scratch Foundation is simply allocating more money toward a smaller team.

one of the scratch team members mentioned that he was only layed off due to ‘creative differences’ nothing to do with funding

Right, but that specific comment to me sounds like they left by choice, as opposed to getting laid off. Nevertheless, what I said probably best answers the question of “If the Scratch Team isn't losing funding, then why are so many getting laid off?”

Scratch probably isn't going anywhere. It has existed for over 15 years. There is no proof that funds will decrease, and donations aren't the only money scratch gets. Scratch will probably exist for at least another 10 years. It's position is pretty stable.
