It's not a good idea to put spaces in between characters. When you say “d i s o r d”, the filter thinks you're trying to share your Discord.

The word “discord” is an actual word that can be used in a sentence without referring to the social media platform. It literally means a disagreement between two people.

ST should change or improve the filter to recognize context such as “here is my discord:”.

It wouldve been easier to simply censor the username format back when Discord used the “username#0000” format with their usernames, but now its a simple @ tagline.

I don't really see it be used in that context on the internet anymore. Also, what if they just said discord, and replied with their info or something?

There is a popular “B word” that literally means “female dog” that can be used in a sentence non-offensively, but that doesn't make it any less appropriate on Scratch.

Nobody is going to use the word b**** when referring to a female dog unless theyre making an edgy joke knowing full well how taboo it is.

The word “discord” is still a word that is commonly used today without referring to the communication platform. A platform that, mind you, was launched 8 years after Scratch itself was first released to the public.

I have literally only seen the word discord used once when not referring to the site in my whole life and it was in an old book.

Idk, scratch sometimes randomly filters things for no reason (and it's usually put under “sharing or asking for personal information”).

For example, just two days ago I said this:
"I've implemented your suggestions (project link) (delete)“
and the filter thought I was ”sharing or asking for personal information“ and I was muted for 20 minutes.

Not sure why this happens, but it does and I don't think it's something specific about the words ”mental disorders".

“(delete)” probably cuz the other scratcher was supposed to delete the comment so that no one else would see
So thats private messaging

It was only because I needed them to test something on a secret alt (for an animatic I’m working on)- also, can’t ST see deleted comments so it wouldn’t really be private chatting?
