Hey everyone,

We have some exciting news! Scratch will be featured as part of Hour of Code, an initiative to encourage students and teachers to try coding for the first time. We're expecting thousands of people new to Scratch, especially December 8 to 14. You can help by welcoming and answering questions from new Scratchers!

We’ve created three awesome activities for Hour of Code: Animate Your Name, Design a Holiday Card, and Create a Pong Game. You can learn more about these activities by visiting our Hour of Code page!

Hello (#14), I have a suggestion, why not add a link to see some projects after completing a tutorial, like, if I just completed a tutorial, a screen with congratulations, a link to the next tutorial and a link to some good projects to check out is shown?

Great! I just became an OFFICIAL Scratcher and I am ALWAYS happy to help newcomers (even when I was one I made a welcome video). Check out my profile to see it! I really hope that we all can help in a way to welcome the new kids and beginners coming to Scratch.

@Kingofawesome58219 that advertisement thing is so complicated and hilarious, although you could get in trouble with the FBI… Hope we can all help out with the new Scratchers coming along.
