A scratch inspired cartoon show?
Like, one with the educational theme of coding with the scratch characters like giga and nano?

duplicate, please go there to keep the discussion in one place.I don’t want a spin-off of the animaniacs. I like that show but I want the scratch TV show to be original.

No support. Cartoons take a lot of money and scratch runs on donations. Look how much and average cartoon in the US is to make.
Shorter? Nope!
Also this.

Is good proof since it means that scratch is non profit and it has budgets in resources so it has to spend it's money wisely or else they will be broke.
The cost of making an average 60-second 2D cartoon animated video can run between $6000 and $300,000. An animated series episode costs about $3.6 million. Marketing is not included. An average episode of The Simpsons would cost $1.5 million. And make the episodes short? Not a good solution…
Summing up our first section, an average custom 2D animated video costs $7000 to $20000 per minute.Proof
Shorter? Nope!
For a basic, flat design animation that features just 1-2 characters, and minimal effects, you can expect to pay somewhere around $2,000 to $6,000 per minute in most cases. A 2D animation of similar style might cost you between $3,000 and $50,000 per finished minute.Proof

Still not proofPlease don't be like that. You asked for proof that they have limited resources, and they gave you a written message from the ST describing where their limited resources come from.

Nah, while I think it's unlikely that Scratch will make a cartoon show, the image provided is not exactly proof that “scratch does not have the resources” to make it. All the image shows is that Scratch gets support from donors. That doesn't mean that they don't have the resources for this. Perhaps one could make more direct conclusions if we found precisely how much funds that Scratch gets (which we know is entirely from donations).Still not proofPlease don't be like that. You asked for proof that they have limited resources, and they gave you a written message from the ST describing where their limited resources come from.

Support, it could either be a web series on the Scratch YouTube channel, or air in-between shows on Cartoon Network.

Maybe they use their own programming language just for that
and since scratch is free, it doesn’t cost anything

Maybe they use their own programming language just for thatgood idea, but they'll need to get an animator (@zvardin is a good choice) on board
