hi, im new to scratch. I made a sprite with bitmap and when I move it in the costumes tab, the x and y position isnt changing. can anybody help me

please give me any ideas you have

i was using the same sprite except in vector, but it was weird, two sprite were supposed to have the same y position except it was clear that they didnt by looking, so i converted the sprite to bitmap and this is what happened.

The statements like this only run once because they're not in a loop. Is it meant to run multiple times?
Also, are specific sprites having this problem? I kept sprite1 and deleted the rest, but I can't replicate (if you mean the x and y values in motion specifically, that's not meant for the costume)

moving it in the costumes tab isn't supposed to change x and y, you can drag it around on the stage to change x and y

Wait, maybe this is just a lack of experience cause when I duplicated a sprite a bunch of times, the positioning went well but I think you have to like calibrate the positioning when you make different sprites or something.
