They are mostly the same thing. UNLESS you specifically mean the ones from the internet that are not yours.

Generally speaking, “Things I'm Reading and Playing” is for discussions with more depth than a collection of fun things you find on the internet. So meme topics are discouraged here. We allow them in “Things I'm Making and Creating” because they are memes made by you so your creativity is involved. And, yes, we do care if they were made by you - simple reposts of memes you find are off-topic.
