Come on, it's been so long since ST added any! It would be so fun to have a few more for scratchers to experiment with! I don't want to add any specific sprites, just maybe you guys could try some more?

What sprites are you talking about? Saying “add more sprites” is like saying “add more features to Scratch”.

Also, wasn't the Characters sprite added in 2021?

I'd like to mention that keeping track of supporters isn't a good idea as it promotes using the suggestions forum as a poll.
Currently, I feel like adding more sprites is going to be the least of ST's worries. I'm sure they're focusing on things like implementing dark mode and making the purple navbar optional.

The characters sprite isn't used as much as the non-human sprites in projects, and it was added in 2019 or 2020, not 2021. Just my opinion but it looks like a low quality sprite

That doesn’t change the fact that this is a duplicate. Please continue discussion over there. Also, not adding non-supporters is even worse because it paints the picture that everybody loves your answer. Just take away the supporters part completely.

Okay fine, I’m scared it’s gonna be considered necroposting. Sure I’ll remove it.

While I understand the desire for new mascots/sprites on the site - topics about them seem to generate a lot of controversy and arguments. It is probably best if we wait for the Scratch Team to express an interest in adding more mascots/sprites before getting into the details of what they might look like.
