I would like to apply for the Curator position. I have never been a Scratch Curator before. I am a Scratcher (here's my profile link)
Below is a list of projects I would curate given the position:

• Smooth animations with good vector graphics

• Platformer games with good bitmap graphics

• OS Programs

• Simulators (Programs similar to NotePad and TextEdit or 3d worlds)

> I will only curate projects that are not that popular (excluding mine) just to give the creator a better Scratching experience

> I will NOT curate my own projects just to make them popular

Yep!!! It's awesome, alright! It gives you more privileges, like using cloud data!

I only check in to Scratch from time to time to see what others have been up to. I don't really post anything anymore. I'll occasionally post a question in the AT forum if I can't find an answer anywhere else.

I would like to apply to be a curator for the front page, because I believe I have seen so many wonderful projects created by talented Scratchers who need, deserve, and want attention! So many people have amazing projects, I want to help them be known! I think that the types of projects I look at are
-dress up
-platforming
-animations
-addicting games that take me FOREVER to stop playing

I would love to be a curater! I know lots of good projects and I was shocked when I saw the number of views of those good projects. Hope you pick me!

Hello ScratchTeam!,As you know, I would really like to become a curator!
Here are some things i will do..

I will curate ..
-educational projects
-fun games with interesting concepts
-scratch appropriate animations
-fun and creative simulations

Why you should pick me..
-I am very active and Ive been on the site for 2 years
-I'm very friendly to all scratchers
-I hold a 97.3 average in school and I am well respected by teachers
-I love to branch out to other scratchers and communicate with them

Projects will not be curated if they…
-contain “blood”
-arent approprite for all ages
-have over 15 loves
-have over 10 favorites
-have over 125 views

I will only curate 1 project per scratcher during my term.

If I get picked,I will also try to curate as many projects I can.Like one project per day.

I will also not curate someones project if the owner has over 100 followers.

PS: (I have read speakvisually's project on tips for being a curator,so I know what to expect)

Hello Scratch team, Ricky10f here. I would like to apply for the position of Curator on the front page, a position I believe would help many Scratchers with different interests and abilities.

If I were to be a curator on the Home Page, I would curate:
-Stories, appropriate for all age.
-Good, creative platformers (Ones that are unique and have effort onto them)
-Educational projects (like for example Solar System Simulations)
-Games which present complex problems to solve

I believe I would be a good Scratcher to consider for the position, since:
-I have been in the Scratch community for over 3 years, so I have experience with the site and community.
-I am active almost every day.
-My comments towards other Scratchers have always been very nice.
-I had never had a project front paged, and one of them recently was curated. I remember how happy I was, and I want to bring that feeling to others.

Also, the projects I curate would be ones that do not have many views, loves, and favorites, to give the opportunity of having more views, loves, and favorites to less known Scratchers.
-Less than 130 views
-Less than 20 loves
-Less than 10 favorites

I will curate two or three projects per day, that have the qualities listed above.

I really hope you consider me for this position, and possibly, if you think I'd be good as a curator, that I'd get the position and be able to help other Scratchers gain popularity. Thank you so much for your time, and Scratch On.

I'm rumplepusscat, and would like to apply for a curator role! I know the chances of actually becoming a curator are rare and people may say I am wasting my time, but I know that if you are passionate for something, you try for it!

Why I would like to apply

I would like to apply for this role as I am friendly and will be fair to other users and the whole Scratch community.

What I would curate

I would curate a variety of different projects - not just games, or animations, but a range of different ones that people will enjoy. Some people don't like playing games as much, so I will aim to curate at least 1 project in the main tag groups (Animations, Games, Simulations, Art, Stories and Music) so that people have lots of different projects to look at. I would also not go for projects that are already ‘famous’ on Scratch, and by users that are not already ‘famous’ too.

I hope you consider me for this role, although I know that I probably won't get it.

I would curate a game every day, but only games that haven't been given a lot of attention.

Hello, I'm intrested in being curator! I think I would be a great one too!
I have helped people with projects and I can help deal with mean comments and spam. I have good morals and I am not a bully anywhere. I've never been banned. Plus, there are over ten thousand great projects!
I would like to find all of them but there are millions of projects. Being curator could help me find them! There are popular projects that I would not curate, no matter how much I like them. I have a maximum of 15 love-its and favorites. I also have a maximum of 250 views Also, I would not curate my friends because I think should have someone else have an opportunity and I help them with projects. I like lots of projects like: games, animations, and simple projects.

Maybe some projects that are known and are REALLY cool, but not that many over 99 loves and favorites. I Hope you choose me!

Hi! This is my ‘form’ of sorts.

If I was a curator I would curate many projects. I would let people feel what it's like to be discovered. I would curate projects such as:

○ Fun and Addictive Games
○ Smooth and Interesting Animations
○ Well-planned, Well-made and Well-designed games that really capture your attention.
○ Undiscovered, Fantastic Projects
○ Smooth, Interesting OS (Operating System) projects.
○ And more!

That's really all I have to say, other than the fact I wouldn't just make 5 for the whole 2 weeks, I would change them often.

If I were a curator, I would give curations to the least-viewed projects, because they need a chance to get views. I think that they deserve a chance at 500 views, or even just 50. So if I were a curator, I would curate for the people.

In order to become a curator, you have to write a curator speech. If the Scratch Team likes your speech, then you might become a curator.
