Changing back to blue is rejected by the ST so it wont be implemented but colour option is not rejected and its being suggested here: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/296027/

0 because blue was a little bit light in shade making it bit boring so i prefer purple more

We should make it actually white because of reasons but also because white is the superior colour for websites such as scratch and plus it will look more simplistic which is good for new people/members of the site

thats not true most people do like purple and this is not a good fit for the suggestions forum it has been reported.
