You sadly have to create a new account to become New Scratcher. I think you can ask Contact-Us this question and ask if they could swap you back to New Scratcher if they wanted to.

You can ask, but I don't find it likely that they would switch an account back to New Scratcher, especially not for the reason of “I don’t like my Scratcher rank.”

I don’t think it’s possible to become a new scratcher again without making a new account.

Perhaps this person wanted to feel the excitement of becoming a scratcher again without having to go through all of the trouble to make an alt account. Or maybe they might have wanted to impress/annoy people with the fact that they would have had all of the requirements to become a scratcher but aren't yet. Despite all of this, I don't think being a new scratcher is suffering, it is a bit annoying that you can't yet create studios of your own, but definitely not suffering. (None of this was meant to be rude to/offend anyone, I'm just simply sharing my opinion. And before anyone replies saying it, yes I am aware that no one asked for my opinion)
