How do I add tags?
Hey fellow scratchers!
I noticed a LOT of people adding tags in their projects. Sometimes its in the instructions and credits, and sometimes its in the title.. But I dont understand how it works. Anyone who can help? Thank you!

How do I add tags?
You just write the text as normal. They become clickable links if you put a hash symbol (#) in front, in the same way you can make links to accounts with an @ symbol.
You have to sign out or switch account to be able to see the tag formatted as otherwise it remains as editable text.

Also, you just add ‘'#’' Then the word you want to put, but without spaces you can use ‘'-’' to make the space and when you've done, you'll have to copy (Ctrl + C) Then spam paste (Ctrl + V) Hope that helped a little too!

First of all: Hashtags don't work on the forums. They only work on projects.
Second of all: Please make sure to not post on topics that haven't been active for longer than about a month or two.

How do I add tags?
To increase the chance of your project coming up when searched, you just have to type a word (relevant and not too specific) with a hashtag in front.
e.g. #games #music #art etc. It will only appear purple when signed out or on someone else's account.

To add tags to a project, just add a hashtag (This thing -> #) and then whatever you want to name of the hashtag to be right after. Next time, please make sure to not post on old topics that haven't been active for a while
