Maybe the original file wasn't what you wanted. Or the file was too big (10MB is the max I think)
You may want to compress the file into a smaller file, there are many audio compression websites available on the internet..

It's not a dip, it's a sound from various directions I think

Since scratch doesn't support multiple channels, you'll have to convert it to mono.

I've found a audio converter that you may like to use, though if you don't trust is and don't want to use it that is fine, you will need to find another website that can convert sound into mono. https://fconvert.com/audio/

For the aforementioned website, to convert to mono, you:
  1. Upload your mp3 file
  2. Set the amount of channels to mono
  3. Yeah that's it, I just want to put it to three because it goes with my writing style :]

If you want, you can also split stereo (multi-directional audio) tracks into two different audio files using an audio editor of your choice. And then you can upload those audios to your project, and make them play through their corresponding ear using the
set [pan left/right v] effect to ()::sound//-100 or 100 depending on left or right ear
block. Here is an example of that. https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/868462486/
