I prefer having the color blue in the editor. Why did it have to change anyways? If it isn't broken, don't even try to fix it. Please make it so it is toggleable and not stuck to purple, it looks ugly.
also will the new block colors replace the old ones? If so, make it toggleable as well.

We made the decision to change it to purple so people with colorblindness and other visual issues are able to use the Scratch website more easily. Customizing site views has been an active suggestion for quite some time, please don't post duplicate topics.

The video says that high-contrast is going to be toggable. Please review the video more closely.

Lastly, please stop hating on colorblind-friendly purple. That type of rhetoric makes it very unfriendly for those who have visual disabilities.
