I hate the change to a purple background I think blue is iconic I really don't see a point in it XD

It's used so colour blind people can see the scratch website.

yeah the blue is iconic but maybe because the purple they chose is darker than the blue and it contrasts better with the white text

This is a good point. I've seen people overreact to the tiny love and fav change and people were basically thinking it was a dumb move without giving proper info why.
Also I got L'd because I liked that change once but it's outdated and I am not linking it.

Honestly, I would be fine with the bar changing to purple if we had an option to toggle it like with the blocks.

The point is that it'll help colourblind people use the site. Also use the quote button.
