Pop-ups/messages when you remix a project (Read the first post!)

A lot of people remix projects without changing anything and without giving credit.
Here are some ideas to improve this:

1) A pop-up when you try sharing a remix without changing anything:
When you would try to share a remix of a project without changing anything, a pop-up or a message will appear telling you you did not change anything and maybe preventing you from sharing the project. Moving a line/block of code would not be considered as changing.
To not abuse this, the user will have to change a certain amount of pixels (not just one).

2) A pop-up when you did not give credit:
When you would remix someone's project, and change some stuff, but not give credit to the original creator(s) a pop-up or a message will appear when you try sharing the project, telling you you did not give credit. To “give credit” would mean having the original creator's name in the Notes and Credits.

Of course, you can report a project that did not change anything or/and did not give credit, but there are so much!

If you support or not support, please say why!

Mock ups:

Big thanks to PaperMarioFan2022 for the Mock-up for (1)!
Whoops! Something Went Wrong…

Your remix of the original project could not be shared because it is an exact copy of (project)

Embrace remix culture.
Remixing is when you build upon someone else’s projects, code, ideas, images, or anything else they share on Scratch to make your own unique creation.
Remixing is a great way to collaborate and connect with other Scratchers. You are encouraged to use anything you find on Scratch in your own creations, as long as you provide credit to everyone whose work you used and make a meaningful change to it. And when you share something on Scratch, you are giving permission to all Scratchers to use your work in their creations, too.

To fix this issue, edit your project to where it isn’t breaking the Community Guidelines. When finished with changes, the project remix will be reviewed by
the Scratch Team. (Note: the Scratch Team can’t review all project remixes, so be patient).

Are you sure you want to share this project?

This can easily be abused by adding a tiny pixel dot in the remix.

I know, but still, at least the user would have paid a bit attention to the project.
I know it is a flaw, but I do not have any other ideas…

Maybe to prevent bypasses, there should be a limit to how many pixels a scratcher uses to change the project and a better pop-up message. The limit would prevent it from being abused often if implemented.

Mock-up:
Whoops! Something Went Wrong…

It appears that your remix is a copy of the original curator’s project.

(Warning: You’re project might get taken down due to copied content inside the project.)

That's actually really smart, thank you!

You're welcome! I like everything except the “Your remix of the original project could not be shared because it contains assets from the original curator’s project.” Because it could be kind of confusing. So I guess something like:
Whoops! Something Went Wrong…

Your remix of the original project could not be shared because it is a exact copy of (user)'s (project)

Maybe a little message about community guidelines and how you should change the project when remixing it.

Though all projects can't be reviewed, so I dont know if it is necessary..?

What about changing the code to something that is like this?
Original:
set size to (100) %
Remixed:
set [size v] to [100]
set size to (size) %
What will happen? Do they pass it without changing anything?

It's already kind of credited when you remix the project?
“Thanks to rickroller for the project rickroll”

Overall, I give semi-support. The no support 50% is because someone can just use pixels or change the code to that and get away with the “AI” or “Searcher”. The 50% support is because it can encourage remixers to change something drastically so https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/104 someone remixes and changes the audio for example.

heya.
Appriciate your effort - Unfortunately this would be extremely difficult to implement. (Although would be great - yes.)
And as a person who remixes first before changing anything since I don't wanna lose projects, tis would be annoyin' unless the popup occurs when you're sharin' it.

'When you would remix' is the reason why I'm saying this, as there's no ‘when sharing after remix’ in any of these posts as far as I went
NOTE: ALSO! This would cause Untitled projects shared very long ago to just be wiped. Sure, free memory for the servers - But lost history for us all.
Just think about the projects that are empty and just contain Scratch Cat.
That'll be a total MESS!

I'm not sure, but maybe the program could check if the project works differently? But I don't know if it's too complicated…

I think @Walimimi suggests to only have the pop up show when you attempt to share the project. Also, there could be a simple workaround to the complicated part of this.

Fair enough although specification would be nice!
Unfortunately there's also TONS of projects that are empty and just something to read instructions, like some sort of statement
Sooo, what about those?
Even if there's a date(time) filter, it'd be difficult.
Considering Scratch is coded in HTML / Java.

Yes! That would make sense! The pop-up would only show up when you try to share the project! Sorry, that was my mistake for not explaining it correctly!
