Scratch already has a responsive design for the 3.0 pages.
Also, some of your designs are also cramped/flawed, which ruins the point.

AND STOP REDESIGNING

It's getting annoying

It's his choice if he wants to redesign or not.

Support! This new redesign looks amazing if compared to the old one. This is what the design should be.

Good, but some of these could definitely be refined a little + project page cuts off the project.
Also, remember that a lot of people use Scratch on iPads. There would have to be an option to opt out of this.

Scratch isn't meant to be designed for phones in the first place.

It’s better to use your phone sideways instead. I like most of the design though, but I think the “what’s happening” and “scratch news” section is too small, and the normal one is better. For the rest I think the redesign is better; other than the fact that they should be rounded blocks and blue

No support. If you’re on android, just turn on computer mode, and boom, the page is clean. IPhones… ehh… don’t have that luxury but who uses IPhones that are expensive but worse than Samsungs anyways

And, mobile = phone. Mobile = phones + tablets (and IPads). And, for tablets, which I think is the most common mobile device to use for Scratch (especially IPads, these are super popular among Scratchers) and the front page is really clean on tablets, almost the same as on a computer. And, all these drop downs, three dots… that starts to look like the most generic mobile app design. Scratch is good as it is.

Za-Chary I respect you but what is this? Scratch absolutely is designed for mobile devices, and it was the entire reason Scratch 3.0 was made.

[…]

Unless you meant phones as mobile devices specifically, versus tablets and such.
Yes, of course Scratch 3.0 was made for tablets. But not for phones — and I said “phones” (as opposed to “mobile devices” in general). Scratch 3.0 is designed for desktops, laptops, and tablets. As far as I'm aware, Scratch 3.0 is not designed specifically for phones.

FAQ wrote:

What are the system requirements for Scratch?
Scratch will run in most current web browsers on desktops, laptops and tablets. You can view projects on mobile phones, but currently you are not able to create or edit projects on phones.
See here for more information: https://scratch.mit.edu/faq

The fact that you cannot create or edit projects on phones means that Scratch 3.0 as a whole is not completely compatible on phones. It is a nice coincidence that you can view most of the website on your phone — but that doesn't mean that Scratch 3.0 was designed for phone users.

This is the greatest out-of-context quote of All Time.

I feel like you took what the website currently looks like on mobile and made it bigger, so that you can fit less on the screen at once.

Just because Scratch 3.0 was designed to run well on mobile devices doesn't mean it was made for mobile devices.
A common misconception is that it was made due to the EOL of Flash, but the EOL of Flash was never mentioned in the announcement, and work started over a year before the EOL of Flash was announced.
Nope, this is mostly the reason for 3.0. Many sites moved from Flash well before Flash's EOL, like YouTube. People did not know when Flash would become deprecated, so Scratch started migrating earlier to be safe.

It is for the most part, but some items in the navigation bar disappear if the screen width is too small (mobile)
Also, some of your designs are also cramped/flawed, which ruins the point.
It's a prototype

Well then No support. It looks more crammed inside. It's like moving a already fine page into a new and more smaller look.

The ones I don't like is the different “buttons” for What's Happening/Scratch News, About Me/WIWO, etc. I think that having one on top of the other is just fine. I do like the “create, explore, ideas, about” popping up, though.
