Missing code blocks on teacher and student accounts
Hi,
My class and I were trying to follow a coding card example but it appears not all the blocks are available on my teacher or student accounts for us to use????
For example the sound block play drum beat is not in the sound sections
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated d

In Scratch 3.0, most of the missing blocks can be found by clicking on the “add extension” icon. This is a blue button with two blocks attached to each other, and a plus sign, just below all of the categories of blocks.

For the block in question, you must add the “Music” extension. Click on the “add extension” button, and choose “Music”. A new category will open up, and you can drag the block out into the code palette.

Click the extensions button and add the Music extension:

These blocks were previously in the main Sound palette in earlier versions of Scratch. In 3.0, they (alongside pen and video sensing blocks) were moved to extensions.
(someone posted it before me…)

Also, some other blocks that were replaced in 3.0:

Clear was renamed “erase all”. Play sound was renamed start sound. Last one also includes backdrop name and #.
