gore is very much NOT allowed on scratch. even small amounts of blood usually aren't allowed, especially in more violent contexts.

hi my name's Silver and I make animation memes on the website scratch.mit.edu
i don't usually post on the forums though but I will sometimes :D

Not necessarily, you can still work on it, but you can't share it on Scratch.

Didn't Zacharry say that the No paper cut is a myth?

Zacharry wrote:

I don't really know what you mean by “myth,” but I don't think it's entirely false. I believe the “paper cut amount of blood” comes from me, where I once mentioned that I saw a project (on Trending, maybe?) that had blood shown from a paper cut, and considering it was on Trending, it was not removed. I don't remember what the specific project was, but the project did have a supportive message (“We all bleed the same,” meant to be supportive of racial equality, I believe) so perhaps that changes things.

It's very, very, very, very, very difficult to tell how much blood is allowed in a project without seeing the finished project afterward. Is a 0%-amount of blood the only amount of blood allowed? I would say no. However, I would not recommend putting any blood in a Scratch project, just to be safe.

The quote you provided is literally me saying that it's not a myth.

EDIT: I might have misinterpreted the context.

Blood isn't allowed unless in very specific circumstances, Scratch was made for kids of 8+ so gore wouldn't be the best idea though you could try putting a warning of gore or something like that.

it's still not allowed, even with a warning.
