A bit back I was testing this here because I was told about it on another website:

But when I was doing that, I noticed that I could drag a shape as if it were vector just by clicking on it:

When I downloaded it and then uploaded it as a new project, it went away.
What is happening though and can someone explain how I might have replicated this?
My browser / operating system: MacOS Macintosh X 10.15.7, Chrome 112.0.0.0, Flash 32.0 (release 0)

I'm sure they did that to make bitmap easier to use. I had done this before so it's not really new.

That’s not what I was saying by the title, look at the image and notice the vector shape. I could drag it after clicking on it with my mouse, but it wasn’t vector when I downloaded the project, opened a new tab for Scratch, and clicked Create -> File -> Upload from your computer.

That shouldn't be happening. Though I am on mobile so I can't do the color thing, so maybe it should.

Well, it is but I meant where part of it was vector, and the other bitmap. And it was in bitmap mode, not vector, as you can see by the fact that it says “Convert to vector”, and it has the bitmap tools

Well, it is but I meant where part of it was vector, and the other bitmap. And it was in bitmap mode, not vector, as you can see by the fact that it says “Convert to vector”, and it has the bitmap tools

So, part of it was still bitmap? That's even weirder.

Yeah no, one part was vector while the rest was bitmap and I’m not sure what happened but looks like I might be the only one here who had this issue.
