I think, like Gobo/Gobo's Friends, the Scratch Cat sprite should have different facial expressions, they could either replace the current cat sprite or be their own sprite “Cat Emotions” (or something like that).

Support. It would be easier that having to draw different faces on the existing Scratch Cat sprite.

Arguably a two-frame walk cycle is much more difficult for the average newcomer to make than a different facial expression. It's not hard at all to flip the Scratch Cat's smile upside down to resemble a frown. On the other hand, due to the complex structure of the Scratch Cat sprite, it's perhaps impossible to make a walk cycle for the Scratch Cat using only flips and rotations. As such, the walk cycle probably should not be removed.

Maybe they could make a “Cat Walking” sprite instead. Also, Gobo, Nano, and Tera don't have walk cycles.
