I don't know why but this just reminded me of the Cubic Ninja exploit

(all you had to do was scan a qr code into Cubic Ninja's level editor lmao)

was easy. Nintendo released an update that patched the vast majority of software exploits.

I've heard you can still use NTRBoot, although you need a flashcart

Not as easy as it was a couple days ago. A while back, you could simply open a website and press a button to mod your system. Now your limited to flashcarts and hardware modification.

edit: super-skaterhax is N3DS only

You can still easily mod a New 3DS on 11.17.0-50 without extra hardware. Old 3DS users need to use alternate exploits that require
  • Certain games which can no longer be bought from the eShop
  • An already modded 3DS with Mario Kart 7
  • A flash cart

my n2dsxl is part of my imagination
hopefully i modded my 3ds before that update

I love how I can play NES, SNES, GBA, DS, PS1 and N64 games on a single device (though the last 2 are debatable) comfortably instead of playing them on PC or on mobile.

I personally play my N64 games on PC/Mobile (via RetroArch) and my PS1 games on my modded PS Classic
