Hello, I would like it if this feature would be added to Scratch.
I would like textures for shapes like Chowder or South Park. I can't outline the shape, put it in bitmap, and erase the outside because there will be pixels in my vector drawing. So I would like a textures feature. To clear it. There will be a clear textures option next to the textures. To add the textures, it will ask you to upload an image.

then this is a good idea, since with it people will be able to do more with custom shapes
i didnt fully understand the op, so if im wrong about what this topic is suggesting, tell me. also i didnt really know how to say it was a good idea even tho it is so if my wording is weird then thats why

But would the textures deform with the shape, or act as if the shape is a mask?

Maybe this could be done by making bitmaps reshapable, tiling their textures. (However, that wouldn't work for outlines.)

It isn't? Why? People should be perfectly allowed to do that, as how they make their art is their business. Discouraging recolours openly isn't allowed for sure, but silently adding a texture on top that can stop recolours shouldn't be against the guidelines.
