So when you start to type [color= , a color picker will show.

Support. It would make it easier to see all the colours you can make text without using hex codes and make the transparent colour more well known.

Good idea. It would make it easier for new users and younger users to get colours that they want without having to use the sliders.

Support! This would teach kids how to use colors instead of the sliders (which are harder to use ofc).

I'm very reluctant if DjangoBB's infrastructure is even capable of this.

I feel like Scratch would be in the right for making everything oversimplified, but I didn't have a difficult time grasping the idea of “hexcode” and what-not.

Even though people probably have the polar opposite perspective with color coding shenanigans.

Tutorials Library? That shows what beginners will do in the beginning part of a new account.
