Please include your os info and dont delete it, it helps for things like this.


Now for the glitch. Did you save after importing the music? It's possible it disappeared during the creation if you clicked off without saving.

1. Is the length of the sound 00:00.00?
2. Are you pressing control or command when clicking the green flag?
3. Is the volume on your computer up?
4. What are the values of the volume block of the sprites that have the sounds?
5. Are some sounds effected but not others?
6. Do you have browser extensions if you are online, and are any of them for the Scratch website? DO NOT NAME WHAT THEY ARE.
7. Can you see anything in the sounds tab?
8. Did you mute Scratch if you are using a browser?
9. Does this only happen on specific projects? Does it happen outside of Scratch?
10. Does the bottom, top, or neither look like what you're using to create your project?

Today all of a sudden the music in my most popular game “Madness Combat Nevada Wars” suddenly went muted. I fixed the bug but I don't know how that happened. Does it have something to do with copyright. I credited the music just in case it does not happen again.

Basically, sometimes scratch fails to load sounds. Especially if you have several sounds in your project. There is nothing you can do about it without editing the actual sounds.

I keep getting many comments on my project saying “there are no sounds” even though the sounds load perfectly for me. Sometimes you won't even know if some people can hear the sounds or not.

I wish scratch would fix this too.
