Audio File Corruption
My browser / operating system: ChromeOS 14541.0.0, Chrome 108.0.0.0, No Flash version detected
There has been a recent issue with audio files (at least for me) lately.
So, today, I uploaded a project with a song not more than 3 minutes long and 10mb, with ZERO explicit content, and the song worked fine for me when the project was uploaded.
I check now and *p o o f !* audio is gone. It's 0.00 seconds long.
I can't view some music files from others' projects, either.
This has been ongoing for a while now. I don't know why, I don't know how, I don't know if it's fixable, nothing.
Oh, and breaking audio into pieces doesn't work, either. I did this with a meme I made, MULTIPLE times with MULTIPLE breaks, and ALL of the chunks just disappear.
Any help?
(p.s. can this get stickied if it occurs to a large amount of other Scratchers?)

You too, huh? But for me, I have two entire songs in the project I'm trying to work on that are around the same length, but it only loads one of the two songs, with the song and other audios I put in the stage sprite show as mute and 0:00 seconds long.

Yeah, I'm curious to see as to why this happens.

There's currently an issue with this and no one knows why it's happening, but for now you might have to use TurboWarp.

Gonna bump this, at least with the hope that we can get some word from the ST on why this is happening

I'll just go on a random project and there will be 0 audio playing when there is supposed to be audio playing. So I check the code and the audio says 0.00

My browser / operating system: ChromeOS 14541.0.0, Chrome 108.0.0.0, No Flash version detectedI tried to compile a scratch project and the wave files didn't play. I tried restarting, but, no HDMI output came out. RIP my computer.

You mean where project audio files go from clean as whatever you uploaded, into pieces of static trash nonsense? I heard something like this happened to the original Scratch project called “weekend”. All its audio files are just loud static now for some reason.

That issue was caused because of changes made in how sound works in Scratch 2.0 (not 3.0).

This bug is annoying. It deleted all my audio from every project I had. I now have to go in and edit them all.

Seems like an audio problem.
I would try recommending saving the audio file after it gets uploaded to see if it keeps the file. If not switch browsers, try different modes, disable extensions, etc. If not try compressing the file if it’s over the file limit. If it goes over the exact file limit (mostly in kilobytes and megabytes) it either won’t save or will give out an error. 180 seconds is long for Scratch’s servers, which is the reason why it might need to be compressed. You should also try switching accounts, as that has been the problem for most of the issues I’ve encountered.

Seems like an audio problem.…I'm not sure what that means because Linux Beta or something like that is blocked by my school.
