I'm currently using the AI Chat thing to generate a character to chat with. I used the prompt “my baby!” and nothing else.

i made a nameless homeless orphan AI that gets bullied at school (don't ask) and he was like “can i tell you something?” “do you promise not to laugh?” etc. The thing he wanted to tell me is that he was a homeless orphan with no name.
edit: if you want to know what happened next, I helped him come up with a name for himself (i named him Teal bc he likes blue and he thought that name was cool)

I've found that a good way to RP with bots is to have something already planned out in your head: characters, scenarios, etc.
The bot never asks me to help them fight gods or talk to them about their backstory. I have to do it myself…
It's like being a DM without the fun of players being insane

i havent used c.ai in a while (eas scenario phase, in november 2023 so about a year ago). i didn't even know about half of these changes.
