My browser / operating system: Windows NT 10.0, Chrome 112.0.0.0, No Flash version detected

The thing used in text boxes appears while I click on text. It appears and disappears within a really short interval while it should only do that while on text boxes, am I right?
I CAN'T FIND ANYTHING ON THE WEB, I HAVE NOWHERE ELSE TO ASK THIS IS LITERALLY BOTHERING ME SO MUCH.

Do you mean when it is supposed to be outlined, but then it automatically becomes not that way?

That happens to me too! I don't think this is a problem with Scratch though.
