My browser / operating system: Windows NT 10.0, Chrome 111.0.0.0, No Flash versions detected

The Scratch 3.0 Offline Editor has one bug that continues to annoy me.
I have used the Scratch 3.0 Offline Editor for a while, even before I got a Scratch Account. Throughout all the updates (about version 3.25-3.29.1) I keep seeing this one bug.
A while after using the app, when I enter text, the current text highlights grey and doesn't allow me to change it, I must minimize the window and re-open it to allow me to enter text. This is a minor bug, and it happens in both blocks and other text inputs, but it is quite annoying when I am in the middle of a project. I cannot notice a certain pattern, but it usually happens when I have been using the app for a while, changing a lot of text or when I play around with a project and continuously change things (code, text, blocks, etc.,).

This bug only happens on the Offline Editor, I have never experienced it on the Online Scratch editor.

My current version of the offline editor is 3.29.1, but I have noticed it in earlier versions as well. My operating system that I am using on this computer is Windows 11 Home, but I have also used Windows 7 Pro and 10 Pro & Home with the 3.0 Offline Editor and experienced the same bug. The computers have either been Lenovo, Dell, or HP, and have quite good CPUs (except for the Dell ones, they were pretty slow), but I still see this same bug on all of them.

I have either downloaded the Scratch Offline Editor from direct download or from the Microsoft Store, but the bug is still there.

Can you please help me with this bug? I would really appreciate if I knew other people had this problem and if there was a fix or not.
