why did scratch take down one of my projects because it had warnings

Warnings don’t stop project discipline. If it’s not ok without warnings, it’s not ok with warnings.

even if projects have warnings, mature content is not allowed on scratch. children are curious, and warnings will not help that one bit.

it was a guy with cheeseballs and loud music and the warning was about turn down the volume

Just because you put a warning doesn't mean that it can't get taken down. Trust me, this has happened to me on many occasions. ST will take down what THEY think is bad, not what YOU think is bad.
