You should be able to leave when you are stuck as a curator. I am already stuck as a curator in 3 different studios.

You can actually do this

It's already possible. Use ctrl/cmd + f to search for yourself, then click the three dots from there. I have heard that this doesn't always work though

OR if you are in a “so many curators” studio (like the one crispydogs101 invited me to), you can use ctrl + f (or cmd + f for macs) and type in your username
