You've probably seen a couple of awesome special effects in projects from time to time. I must say they're pretty awesome too, but what a lot of them lack is kind of hard to explain. Simply put, you can't really FEEL the effect when you are looking at them. Effectbox is here to change that!

EffectBox is essentially a simulation environment for various special effects achieved using lots of scripting, clones, and very simple sprites, with most of them being plain circles. Currently, Electric Spark, Flame and Laser effects are available for you to enjoy.

EffectBox is currently going through frequent updates to bring effects that are first of its kind on Scratch. There is not much on it right now, as it is a fairly new project. However, more effects will be added in the future, so follow the development progress for any new and interesting changes and additions.

If you are capable of it, I encourage anyone to try out the effects in their projects. It would interest me to see what others can do with them. All I ask is that credit is given where it is due.

Finally, any suggestions you have can and should be posted in the comments or this thread. I will definitely consider them and get back to you about it.
